amy author image for final bookAmy Albo has worked as an editor and writer in New York City and Salt Lake City for more than 20 years. She was a senior editor at American Benefactor and Civilization magazines, managing editor of Salt Lake Magazine, and the founding editor of Grazie: The Art of Giving magazine. As a freelance writer, she’s contributed to People, MNN.Com, and The Independent Film & Video Monthly, among others. She currently works as a writer and editor for the University of Utah Health Sciences. She has a B.A. in English from Georgetown University and an M.A. in nonfiction writing from The Johns Hopkins University.



Peta Owens-Liston has been writing for more than 20 years in editorial positions and as a freelancer. She has written for regional, national and international magazines, including Time, Sunset, Via, among others. She is a member of the American Society of Journalist and Authors. Peta received her B.A. in English from Santa Clara University, CA. She has lived in South Korea, London, Vienna, San Francisco Bay Area, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.




Sasha Polak has been a professional photographer for more than 20 years, with expertise in portrait, family, and fine art photography and is highly skilled in the technical, compositional, and creative aspects of her work. She has been an adjunct professor of photography and her work is recognized and often requested for gallery shows. Passionate about her work, Sasha enjoys the creative process that allows for more than one right answer.




Zoë Rodriguez has been a photographer and visual artist for over 20 years. After founding Pavlovian Design Group, Serendipitous Salutations, and Reinventing Spaces, she now focuses on photography with her husband at Zoë Rodriguez Photography, Inc. Together they maintain a professional client base in Utah and the Bay area, doing work ranging from event and branding materials for IKEA and Kevin.Murphy (sic) to the most intimate of portraits. Her fine art photography has been exhibited in private galleries and juried shows from Salt Lake City to Manhattan.
